I’m big fan of Save the Cat Writes a Novel by Jessica Brody, so when I heard she wrote a mystery novel I was very excited.

It’s even better than I hoped. It’s a celebration and skewering of authors and publishing and mystery novels as well as a very funny skewering of Save the Cat style writing books while also presenting a mystery version of Save the Cat Writes a Novel that I’ve always wanted.

It’s a great mystery with a very satisfying and surprising ending. Highly recommended.
