Stew’s Legs: An Update
Six months ago, I thought the only way we’d be able to walk Stewie would be with some kind of cart. Today though, we took him around the subdivision unassisted and he did great.
Prior to taking him outside, we’ve been watching with awe an wonder as his natural stubbornness overcame his medical issues and he started with getting his tail wag back first, then a little bit of hall running for his treats. We put a ramp in the house between the kitchen and the living room, which is where we have the biggest step, and he mostly uses it, hopefully extending his life a bit and keeping him from re-injuring his comically shaped spine and legs.
