I thought I had avoided the exhausting glare of jet lag, but it finally caught up to me today. I’m in the lobby of the Sheraton across the street from the convention center where ComicCon is being held. I really want a nap, but if I fall asleep in the lobby here I’ll probably be arrested as a vagrant.
I spent the morning helping Lee and Mike set up the Angry Robot booth then the three of us had lunch together then they went off to their hotels to work and relax. My”hotel” is my aunt and uncle’s house 30 minutes away so I don’t have that option.
So it’s just a matter of maintaining enough caffeine and activity to keep myself going. I anticipate being out late tonight as well with post-con fun and merriment and I really don’t want to fall asleep in that company of people.
