We did our part today to help bring Detroit back by heading down to Comerica Park for the Detroit Tigers Christmas in July game. We stopped at my father-in-law’s hardware store in Mexican town, then drove and parked for free at the MGM Grand Casino. Sure this might not sound like we were contributing to the economy, especially since we snuck in some juice boxes for the kids as well, but we ended up spending enough on beer and food and kids rides to more than make up for it. The rain held off mostly and the humidity was awful at first but then became bearable. The highlight for me, aside from being able to drink in the middle of the day, was being able to show the tickets on my phone instead of going somewhere to print them off. I’ve been without a printer for a while and hope I never have to have another one again. But you don’t care about any of this, do you. You just pictures of the kids. Fine.
