No, you didn’t imagine it. There was another post before this one. A couple of people asked that their comments be removed due to personal reasons and I realized when I redid the template for this blog I lost the ability to delete comments. So I deleted the entire post. Writing it was therapeutic and the response from everyone was amazing, but sometimes I feel bad writing things like that because it seems like I’m fishing for supportive emails. I’m not and don’t expect this blog to turn into anything dark anytime soon. The next big thing in my life is right around the corner. I can feel it.

Now onto some good news. Demolition Magazine has surpassed 1,000 hits. At last check today, the total was up to 1,079 hits since January 13 and the site is averaging about 20 hits a day. This is amazing to me. For a little magazine with no advertising and no publicity, I think we’re doing pretty well. I’ve got content already to fill the next two issues with quality, name writers. And thanks to the generous donation of a fan of ours, the site will be moving from my student site to a more permanent home in the next couple of days. So thanks to everyone who got the word out on the first issue and let’s make an even bigger splash for the next issue.

And for anyone interested, I’m still accepting submissions for the upcoming all female noir edition. I’d like to get more younger writers and writers from the literary side of the street if I can. So if you, or anyone you know might be interested, have them send a story, no more than 5,000 words and in .rtf format to demolitionsubmissions@gmail.com
