If my job was “The Muppet Show” I would be Scooter. I spend most of my time running around backstage with a headset on keeping the frogs seperate from the pigs and the old men in the audience quiet, metaphorically speaking of course.

I’m writing this from work where I’m waiting for the latest theatre troupe renting our theatre to get the heck out of here so I can go home. They’re putting on a country jamboree variety show that is essentially a two hour long episode of “Hee Haw,” take that how you will. I’ve still got three more weeks to go with this show and I’m already waking up in the middle of the night hearing banjos.

Working at night has given me a wonderful opportunity during the day to be outside writing with my laptop on the deck. And today I crossed the 60,000 word mark and wrote 28 words more than anything I’ve ever written in my life. Everything after this is uncharted waters baby. I know the story is strating to round teh final bend but I’m not exactly sure whether its going to take 10 or 20k words to finish it up. Guess we’ll find out soon, won’t we?
